Science and technology do not have to be difficult or abstract. I know how to make Chemistry interesting and relevant to everyday life. If students need help with the math that is required for Chemistry, I know how to bring them up to speed. When students are willing to keep trying to learn, I will keep trying to help them.

Even when I was teaching a class of twenty-five college freshmen, I tried to move things in that direction, giving my students incentives to come by during my office hours (hard to do with such busy students).
