My name is Alex and I have Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Engineering from Kansas State University. I graduated from Bishop Miege High School. I scored a 34 on the ACT and I have 5 years of tutoring experience at KSU in subjects such as Geometry, Trigonometry and College Algebra all the way to Differential Equations. A Little Bit About Me...

I can usually find a way to relate the material that the student is struggling with to something else that they understand. When they can make connections to more familiar things, then they can think themselves through problems more effectively. I usually achieve this by showing them how to do a problem, doing a problem or two with them, and then having them do problems on their own, only assisting when they need it.
I have always picked things up quickly, more quickly than my peers. My peers have often come to me to ask for my help in those areas. I also see how to apply what I have learned to original problems because I see connections and hold a deeper understanding of the material. A Little Bit About Me...

During college, I worked as a Teaching Assistant at Duquesne University for 4 years. There I helped to teach the Pharmaceutics Principles Lab to professional Pharmacy Students. Outside of college, I have recently taught math, science and geography to middle school students.
