Friendly tutor (2 yrs experience in IT industry)

I had two years of experience at IT industry. Prior to that i have a great knowledge in mathematics.i did work as an assitant for my inter level math tutor. I am more interested in teaching maths rather any other subjects. I am good all over my acedamics and scored 99 percent in my 10th grade. I believe that a genuine interest makes the strongest foundation for education. Creativity and a sense of serious play clan create interest in "boring" subjects. A handful of wonderful marbles will draw the attention of children and adults with simple beauty and color. They can also be used to demonstrate important lessons in physics and probability. In fact, math and science exist primarily outside the confines of books. If the student can replace the textbook problem with inquisitiveness and interest, better learning will occur. I have enjoyed teaching Chemistry, Computer Programming and Freshman General Science for the past 20 years in Missouri and Kansas. I like to use current events and computerized resources to help students learn. I love science, but more importantly I know how to help students understand concepts rather than memorize. Together we can learn skills to prepare for further study in math and science. By helping each student construct his or her own knowledge, science becomes more relevant and important.

During college, I worked as a Teaching Assistant at Duquesne University for 4 years. There I helped to teach the Pharmaceutics Principles Lab to professional Pharmacy Students. Outside of college, I have recently taught math, science and geography to middle school students.
