I am a driven life-long learner who achieves high levels of success in life. I focus on excellence in all I do. I have a well-rounded education. My experience has led me to expertise in teaching math, psychology, English and history. I have worked with students from Kindergarten to adult age. At the high school level, preparation for transition to college, training or work has been an additional area that I have provided expertise.
Having worked with young children through college students and adults, I can teach a variety of ages and make the material applicable to the student's skill-level. I like explain the problem to the students and then let them work on few problems on their own. I would then correct the problems that the students were working on and ask if they need any questions. If the students have questions or if they did not get the right answer I would then go over the problems together with the students and have them practice until they have the strategy down.

For students to succeed, they need to be able to have open and respectful communication between themselves and their teacher. Each student brings to a tutoring session or a classroom his or her own self-knowledge about how he or she best learns, and in my teaching I always strive to draw this information out. I work to find those aspects of a subject that are going to cause a particular challenge for a student and those aspects that will come more easily.
