As a holder of a BS in Chemistry, I have a very strong grasp of science and mathematics, as well as a passion for the written word. I have volunteer experience tutoring my fellow students at Eastwood High School, out of which came two years' of summer tutoring for one of the individuals I helped while volunteering. I started tutoring in 7th grade back in 1976. I have been tutoring my own kids for over 14 years. I have been a Scout leader for over 9 years. I worked with boys ages 5 to 18 years of age. I have brought 2 learning disabled teens into my home to help them graduate High School. Both have gone on to be Certified Welders.
