I used to volounteer to help my fellow students in sessions similar to tutor under supervision of the assistant professor (who holds a PhD degree in the subject). I was designated "dissector"; Those prepare for the "practical-lab." class for Anatomy. In Egyptian schools of medicine, they still use cadavers.
