A Little Bit About Me...

I have recently have earned a BS degree in Electrical Engineering and a minor in Mathematics in DEC 2009. I have helped and still currently tutor my younger brother through his calculus courses. I work very well in teaching and working with others. I have taught martial arts self defense and discipline for over 10 years in Wind Fist Kung Fu as an instructor. I am very ambitious and I look forward to tutoring students in the subjects of pre-algebra, algebra, geometry, trigonometry, pre-calculus, calculus, calculus II, and physics. I enjoy working with children and get a kick from seeing a discovery or understanding in a students eyes. I've had the opportunity to collect numerous bio. samples for hands on experience. I have also taken workshops in the workings of google earth as a teaching tool along with mapping and watershed principles.I feel I have benn successful in elightening many student's lives.
I started teaching in 1970 as a K-8 substitute, continuing until being hired by a private school in 1975. I then taught full time in East LA. Upon moving to Wa. and being certified here, I taught in several schools in differing cultural settings untill recently starting my own business in Newport. I have also tutored and graded math praxis.
