I'm a National Candidate Master and I've been teaching children and adults for 5 years. I have taught and coached a national championship winning team and have won numerous state and national championships myself. I teach lessons at Rittenhouse Square and at the Abington Free Library. I offer 1 hour and 2 hour weekly time slots throughout the week. I am a one-on-one instructor. If chess rules are not known such as piece movement and lack of notation keeping, I will teach you that first. I will gauge your playing level after playing some games with you. From there you will learn tactics, openings, general positional strategy, endgame technique, and etiquette appropriate to your level. I have taught children and adults chess since 2005.
