My comments on tutoring Shakespeare : Have taught Shakespeare as part of the English literature class in grade 12. I have actually been to Strafford Upon Avon and have seen many plays in England.

My comments on tutoring Shakespeare : In an Independent Study course taken at the post-graduate level, I focused exclusively on the works of William Shakespeare.

I am foremost a writer whose 38-year, award-winning career is rooted in journalism. However, I also have an extensive teaching background. My comments on tutoring Shakespeare : I know the basics of most of Shakespeare's major plays including, "A Midsummer Night's Dream," "Romeo and Juliet" "Macbeth" "Hamlet" and "Henry V." I have no set style of teaching. I try to understand how to benefit the individual by examining their needs. Then, we go from there. Some students need an analytical approach, so the material can best be presented as a formula. Others need a creative approach. It really just depends on the student.
