I love working with children and with adults. I especially enjoy watching a child's eyes light up when something makes sense. I value the constructivist approach to learning and encourage learning through exploration. After this, I entered Mennonite Voluntary Service and directed a tutoring program in Philadelphia for two years, training high school tutors, organizing the curriculum and matching students to tutors. Following this I have had a successful career as a Buyer -- then a Senior Buyer -- for over 20 years. However, I did not leave tutoring behind.
