I have earned two bachelor degrees which has given me the chance to motivate other youths and kids to seek the world and don't let it end with High school. There is more to life. Granting that Education is the key to success and without education there will be no sense of direction.
I love working with kids. I believe that the kids are our future and if we adults don't help them grow up to be leaders and make better choices in their lives we will not have any sense of direction.

As a student of the life sciences, I have gained a foundation of knowledge which consists of chemistry, physics, and biology. High scoring on graduate school entrance exams earned me a position to tutor others studying for the MCAT and GRE with a test preperation organization. Balancing the hard sciences with sociology, anthropology, and philosophy, I have been able to develop my own critical writing style. Also, I have been fortunate enough to tutor elementary school students during the past two years.

A Little Bit About Me...

My teaching style is highly student focused. Instead of providing only textbook reading and writing my classroom focuses on having the students work hands on to create models of the systems they are learning so they can develop their own understanding of the material. I believe that all students should have an interest in the workings of biology especially related to the human body. A priority of mine is to make sure the students are not rushed in their learning. I believe that each student should be encouraged to proceed at a pace that fosters learning and not rote memorization. During my tenure as a teacher I have worked with all levels of learners including mentally challenged and gifted and talented students.
