A Little Bit About Me...

I currently teach at a small K-12 school where I taught business classes. My current course load includes Introduction to Career, Business Management, Business Math, Accounting, and Work-based Learning. I am also the director of the Stratford Alternative Education Program. This program allows me to help students complete courses such as Chemistry, Biology, and Algebra so they may receive a state diploma. Working in a K-12 environment has helped me gain a better understanding of the cognitive development and thought processes. I have enjoyed working with the students not only in the academic realm, but also behaviorally, socially, and emotionally.

I have taught and done research in mathematics for over 30 years and have tutored students at the high school and college level during the same period, as well as mentoring them in research projects. One of the more enjoyable aspects of my career was working with students in one-on-one tutoring situations.
