I have had a love of science and education since I was young, My favorite being Biology I took Biology AP in High school and scored a 5, Went on to college to continue to study biology and other natural science,I work very well with children, The important thing is making studying fun and interesting which I believe I do very well, im currently completing my degree and USC upstate.
I try to make whatever material being studied appealing and interesting, pictures and examples of the wonders of science are what captivated me, so I try to do the same when I teach.

I love teaching. I especially love the reaction I get when a student understands a difficult concept they have been struggling with. To help struggling students, we break down difficult concepts into smaller pieces and help them translate difficult scientific jargon and other vocabulary into "regular English". Discovering how these words are broken down allows the students to recognize and translate words in the future. Whenever possible and appropriate, students have hands-on experience in the topic they are studying, and I relate the subject to their own lives. From there I decided to pursue my graduate education and took a scholarship in the althetic department at the University of Arkansas where I became an academic advisor for the football team for 4 years. A Little Bit About Me...

I am a graduate of Clemson University, with a BA in Biological Sciences. I have always enjoyed biology since my first AP class my Junior year of high school. After college graduation I worked for six months in a cancer research lab, which gave me the knowledge of "real life" science and how that effects our lives I have worked as an after school and summer camp counselor which has helped me learn how to relate to them, and teach them material they are learning in school.
I love that look that you get from a child who gets what you are teaching them. When the light bulb turns on, and you know that they understand the process. That's what makes it all worth it. My teaching style is that with enough work, any child can succeed. They just have to know they matter to the teacher. I am a hands on learner myself so visual tools help me to teach the concepts to students.
