As the daughter of an illerate parent, I have learned the value of being able to read and that of an education. My education is the second most important thing to me. I am the single mother of two children, in order to support them while attaining my degree I cleaned houses. This experience only solidified , in my mind, the importance of education. While pursuing my degree in English, I learned how to communicate my thoughts through writing and researching for various papers in different subjects. The paper writing process has taught me to constantly work on grammatical and research skills. While attainging my education I tutored students in English, Literature and writing. A Little Bit About Me...

Nothing is better than seeing a huge smile on a child's face once they cath on to something. I love helping children learn by doing a lot of visual activities and practicing! I was always the only person who could help my younger sister study for tests because she said my teaching techinique is very helpful and makes her remember things. It always made me feel good knowing i was the only one who could help her study!
When I first attended Wilmington College, I was in early childhood education. I completed a whole semester of student teaching and volunteered for tutoring after school. I finally had decided that teaching was not for me because I wanted more of an office setting job so i decided to major in business management. I have decided that I want to pursue in subsitute teaching so that I am able to help children and spend more time with my newborn.
