I am currently still in high school but I am in the top 10% of my graduating class at John F. Kennedy High School where I am taking 5 college level IB Diploma courses. I have volunteered for years at the elementary school in my neighborhood tutoring kids as well as helping my younger siblings and his friends.

I have taught and tutored both children and adults in a wide variety of situations, from job training and test preparation to tutoring for a specific subject. I have taught ESL classes and done individual tutoring, as well as both group and one-on-one instruction in grammar and composition. I have tutored for SAT, ACT, TOEFL, TOEIC, ISEE and entrance exams. I have created my own materials for such tutoring but also use books available commercially.

I wanted very much to teach at the Liberal Arts College level but was unable to secure a full-time, permanent position. In pursuit of this goal, I have completed an MS in Physics, all the coursework necessary for a MS in Mathematics, an MA in Philosophy, and I am working to complete my PhD in philosophy. I have been tutoring children while in college and since. I tutored children as part of the No Child Left Behind Act in the fields of reading, English, math, history, and science.
