Science, especially biology and chemistry, has always intrigued me. Since I was a child, I had always known that I wanted to study biology. I received a BA in Biology in May 2006 from CU. During my studies there, I focused on chemistry and received a minor in French. My coursework is quite varied, and I have experience writing scientific papers, laboratory reports, research papers, and essays. Last fall, I taught an English class to adults in Mahahual, Mexico where I was volunteering.

I was a museum educator at Boston Museum of Science and awarded "Rookie of the Year," teaching the concepts of air and flight to Elementary School Students. Using household objects to perform hands-on experiments is one of my strong-suits.
