Currently I run the Spanish Club at Gulf Coast Charter Academy since they opened two years ago for kinder to middle students. I teach individual or small group language classes only for children. I am originally from Venezuela. As a Spanish native speaker, I have emphasized the importance of early second language immersion for young children. Also, learning Spanish from a native speaking teacher is the ideal way to learn the language with appropriate pronunciation and provide the opportunity to learn a different culture as well. My comments on tutoring Spanish : I have lived outside the US in Latin America for over 20 years. I studied Spanish in HS and college and have been a Spanish teacher for 2 years. I am fluent in reading, writing and speaking Spanish. I teach individual or small group language classes.

I have many materials and techniques to teach Spanish or English in an engaging style that works! I love vocabulary, grammar and games! I really believe that increasing student speaking time over teacher speaking time is the key when learning a new language.
