I believe in a teaching style that reflects a student's learning style. Whether they learn best by hearing, seeing, or doing it is important to cater to the student. My teaching style works around this philosphy and tends to be a combination of all 3 styles. Although I have recently graduated with a degree in business, I am interested in pursuing a career involving people. My previous employment was a sales position that was very customer-oriented. I like teaching by doing. I believe it helps the student when they can see what they are learning put into use. I am very patient and do no mind repeating things or explaining them in another way that the student understands. In my Spanish classes, I would often lead study groups of several students. I have received a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and a Bachelor of Arts in English. I have worked for several years as an electrical engineer. I have teaching and tutoring experience at the high school and college level. I love expanding their minds and sharing my knowledge with them. I will be a graduate of the University of Wisconsin Superior in just a few short weeks with my degree in English and Communications.
