Although I have recently graduated with a degree in business, I am interested in pursuing a career involving people. My previous employment was a sales position that was very customer-oriented. I also have 3 years of experience helping children by teaching swimming lessons. Assisting my 15-year-old sister with her school work is also a regular activity. I am very patient and do no mind repeating things or explaining them in another way that the student understands. In my Spanish classes, I would often lead study groups of several students. I have received a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and a Bachelor of Arts in English. I have worked for several years as an electrical engineer. I am a current Master student at MNSU in Mankato and I received my Bachelors of Science in Biology in 2009. Currently I am planning a thesis and developing my skills in grant writing. Being overwhelmed with information that is just not making sense can be frustrating and most teachers don't have the time to give individual attention to each student. Ever student has different needs and I can help them focus on areas they doesn't understand as well as others. I can also show students that studying can be fun. I have teaching and tutoring experience at the high school and college level. I love expanding their minds and sharing my knowledge with them. I will be a graduate of the University of Wisconsin Superior in just a few short weeks with my degree in English and Communications.
