My comments on tutoring Biology : Took in high school.

I believe in success. There is no guarantee someone will learn on the first try. It's all about enjoying the learning experience and positive reinforcement. I also believe in humor and think that it can help a lot in peoples difficult situations.
I have helped tutor AVID high school students when I was a senior at Cherry Creek High School. I enjoy helping the kids learn and believe that being a tutor would pay it forward since I had so much help from tutors. I always helped my friends out because I was in higher level classes than them some of the times. I also worked with tutors and know how much of a difference they can make. I'm currently studying at CSU and still work with friends on homework if they need help.

Biology is one of my top subjects! I am applying to med school in the summer of 2013, so I have had vast experience with all fields of biology. In high school I took AP Biology and received a 5 on the exam. In college I have taken molecular/cellular biology and lab, genetics and genetics lab, and biochemistry. I also have taken and the MCAT and studied for and done well on the Biological Sciences section of the test.

A Little Bit About Me...

During the last three years of my undergraduate college career, I was a Mathematics tutor for student athletes. Although the courses covered while tutoring ranged from basic math to calculus, I am more comfotable tutoring algebra and geometry.
