My experience working with children is in the area of those with mental health issues, most of which have learning disabilities as well. I love my work and I love children. I believe that all children can learn when you consider what kind of learner they are. I believe that most children have to experience learning through many facets; hearing, touching, seeing and discovery. I also believe that children need to be empowered to learn so that through daily activity their confidence and self-esteem is cultivated, nurtured so that potential can be met and possibly exceeded.
