I sit with students and ask them what they are having trouble with. I will then explain to them and make it as clear as possible so they can understand better the subject they are having trouble with. Once done with my explanation, I will have them work out problems to show me they really understand the subject. It is very important to be patient with every student because some are fast learners and some are slow learners. Depending how much the student is struggling, I will dedicate my time and make sure students fully understand everything they are required to learn.

I believe that each child is capable of learning. I want my students to know that I will not give up on them, and that I believe they are all capable of learning and making progress. I believe that students succeed when they are actively involved in their own learning. A Little Bit About Me...

I recently moved to Arizona and received my substitute teaching certificate. I am a new college Graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Ag Leadership and Development. My degree helped me understand how individuals learn and process information. It also helped me understand and respect people of different cultures, religions and races. I learned many different teaching mechanisms and strategies to educate individuals. While in high school I was very involved in 4-H and other extracurricular activities.
