With a degree in Special Education and a Masters in Education I have learned about how children learn best. I have a Florida Teacher's License for teaching ESE (Exceptional Students Education), Spanish, Elementary Education, and other subjects. I taught in the Ocala public school system. Getting to know each of my students as an individual is the first step in my tutoring process. Seeing the world through his or her eyes helps me to connect the learning to the student's own paradigm or viewpoint. In my education courses, I learned the technical terms for what I've always known -- when a student can feel part of the process, he or she is well on the way to understanding. A Little Bit About Me...

My teaching style is one that is easily relatable to the students. I teach bringing the real life to the classroom so it is applicable to other parts of their life, not just being able to comprehend the questions of a reading passage but successfully being able to apply what they have learned to life outside the classroom.
As I teacher for the last five years in Lake County I have taught English as a second Langugage,and students with exceptionalitites in grades sixth through eight.
