Teaching is very subjective. Each individual learns according to his/her own style. What I find challenging and rewarding is to find that point where it “clicks”. I love science and specially chemistry. I did my undergraduate with Honors in Chemistry and then went to graduate school and got my PhD in Chemistry (organic). Later on I moved into Biochemistry as a post doctoral fellow and continued as a Researcher in my professional life (non-teaching). After joining the University of Michigan, I had the privilege to mentor many undergraduate and graduate students in physical and organic chemistry, biochemistry and biophysics.
