A Little Bit About Me...

As a computer science teaching assistant I was often presenting students with their first experience in a new field, as a result, I have adapted a teaching style which draws upon my background in the sciences to offer real life examples and helpful tidbits to further a students understanding. I have a B.A. in Accounting as I have a great passion for the financial world. I have always LOVED math as I feel it gives me a great sense of accomplishment when I am able to take a problem that I've been given and find a solution. I am passionate about teaching and learning, and I love all people. I am an advocate of task-based learning, multiple intelligences, and the all-around inductive/constructivist approach to learning. I am a firm believer in the idea that all people have the same innate capacity to learn, but that this is manifested in different ways.
