A Little Bit About Me...

I enjoy helping others and have often volunteered my proofreading and editing skills to my friends, family, and classmates. While in college, I took numerous creative writing classes that utilized workshop and group editing techniques. As a result, I have learned how to give constructive criticism and how to help others improve their writing without compromising their own unique style and voice. My goal in studying linguistics is to become a professional ESL teacher. I am very much interested in language development at all levels, but especially in nonnative language development. I am a native speaker of English, but I am also fluent in Spanish as well. I love to teach and learn language.
