My comments on tutoring Elementary Phonics : During my masters program in Reading and Curriculum Instruction, I spent many hours learning and perfecting the art of elementary phonics.

I have worked with children in a variety of settings and ages over the past 25 years: church camp counselor, gymnastics coach, dance instructor, theater, forensics judge, tutor, and classroom teacher. These experiences have both shaped my style of teaching and equipped me with a broad range of skills needed to connect with, instruct, and inspire children. I’ve worked for an elementary MPS school, an elementary Charter School, a suburban Middle School, and a Catholic school system. I have 13 years of classroom teaching experience. I have taught in various elementary setting including urban, suburban, and rural populations. My comments on tutoring Elementary Phonics : I have worked with students in phonics during tutoring sessions and when teaching at school.

I have been teaching students for the past twelve years. I taught in the field of Special Education with students in grades 1-5 for eight years. I received my Masters Degree in reading and ESL and now I teach ESL to students in 1st and 2nd grades. I also tutor students of all grades at Sylvan Learning Center in the areas of reading, writing, and math. I have also tutored students at Cardinal Stritch University in reading.
