I began teaching at a very young age. I began my own music lesson company which taught basic level of piano, guitar, saxophone and voice lessons out of my house before I began high school. After achieving my certificate of proficiency in Spanish from Hamline I then began to also privately tutor Spanish. My teaching style is one of real life applications, fun, and making it understandable. For example, when discussing slope, we can study downhill skiing or rooftops. When solving equations, I approach it from unraveling a number trick. I prefer to coach students on how to approach problems, and design which questions to ask themselves, rather than memorizing a list of techniques whenever possible.
