My comments on tutoring Writing : I teach a variety of writing approaches, depending on the purpose of writing.

My teaching experience focuses on teaching students who face reading struggles including dyslexic tendencies. I have had extensive experience teaching reading to dyslexic students. Patience, repetition, mini quizzes, and following a plan, pretty much summarize my teaching style. I also like to make my students comfortable, by being understanding, encouraging them to ask questions, and being very willing go over material that I have covered. My goal is to help my students improve their grades, and while doing that, to also help them love to learn.
I teach exactly how I study. I discovered as an undergraduate student that a student has to have a plan of action when taking any course. You cannot just study without a plan and expect to score highly in a test. My teaching method has been tried and tested by me,so much so that I have consistently scored highly in most of my courses from undergraduate through graduate school and into the doctoral program.
