I was challenged to pursue brilliance and excellence throughout my undergraduate education. I received two bachelor degrees from Indiana Wesleyan University: a BS in Illustration and a BS in Writing. I worked for two years in Indiana Wesleyan University's Writing Center as a tutor, mentoring undergraduate students, as well as with those in the Adult Learning Program, ESL students, and students with disabilities. I have a degree in elementary education with endorsements in reading and history. I also greatly enjoy teaching writing. I taught Pre-K for two years with a focus on reading, writing, and math. I was a nanny for a year for five and seven year old. I would assist with homework and practice reading skills. I currently am subbing in various classrooms and teaching general subjects from Kindergarten to Middle School. I have a passion for teaching and really enjoy helping children learn.
