My comments on tutoring PSAT : I have tutored for the SAT (and related PSAT) in the past. I have taken the PSAT myself and was a National Merit Scholarship Finalist.

I am a big proponent of the theory of multiple intelligences and believe that each student has certain styles of learning that work best for them. I aim to help students figure out how they learn best. Once they realize where their strengths are, they can incorporate the concept into all of their studies, not just the subject for which I happen to be tutoring them.
I have tutored a wide variety students on many subjects. I am most experienced tutoring high school students for the SAT. I really enjoy teaching all ages. From my background in coaching young children how to swim I've become well adjusted to dealing with difficult situatioins in a learning environment.
