As a lifelong learner I understand the importance of an effective teacher. I have been teaching and assisting college level classes for 2 years as a Graduate Teaching Assistant. During this time I have taught 6 classes consisting of introductory microbiology, microbial genetics and general biology. At the outset of the personal computer revolution I sold and supported Tandy computers. As part of the support function I instructed clients in the use of their computers. A whole new world blossomed for me. Teaching clients to use their computers turned out to be a long term and very rewarding experience. During my thirteen years as The Computer Tutor I encountered a multitude of student learning difficulties. I have recently retired from the U.S. Army as a medic. During my service, I was frequently responsible for both formal and informal teaching and training. I´ve been teaching since 10 years ago. I´ve been teaching from 1st grade to 12th grade. I was teaching stimulation with music at a special school for kids with disabilities, I was there 5 years, it was in Mexico. I worked with ADD, Autism, Asperger's, Dyslexia, and others.
