I like to make teaching fun! If a student is bored they aren't going to be putting 100% into their work. I also use a positive reward system and celebrate all achievement. Even if it is minor.
I have been working with kids of all ages for a long time. I love to see them learn and grow. That moment when they "get" something is magical! As a recent graduate of Strayer University, Adult Education I have had the priviledge during my work experience to be able to tutor reading with first and second graders from inner city school program under the PNC BANK reading program.
