A Little Bit About Me...

I like to teach by example and immersion. So much of what schools preach today is rote memorization, and to a certain degree, this cannot be avoided. But whenever possible, I like to try and find real world applications and demonstrations to get my lessons across to my pupil.
Throughout high school and college, I've always excelled in my school work. I was president of the math club and often tutored my peers during my spare time. As a graduate of a private liberal arts college, I was educated in English and multi-cultural literature. As a reflection of what I was learning, I became interested in participating in the literary tradition, and began to take creative writing very seriously.
