A Little Bit About Me...

My true passion in life is for teaching. Since I was a teen, I have gravitated toward teaching, and have been blessed to be continually drawn back to my gift – teaching! My multiple years of experience and education in teaching methods and learning styles have lent themselves well to my success in helping students grasp very complex scientific concepts. Students find my unique life-related “stories” that parallel biological processes extremely useful in remembering the intricacies of each process for exam time and beyond.
My objective in attaining a Ph.D, was to create the opportunity for myself to teach Biology related courses at any level. I have decided that after three and a half years of hard work through school and a gratifying 3 years of labratory experience (including 6 months of post-graduate full time work) that I am not ready for a career in chemistry.
