My comments on tutoring Grammar : Grammar is the foundation of a language. My teaching method is grounded in grammar. Finding effective ways to break down in simple terms and explain complex grammar rules to students is my forte.

I am a native speaker of Russian. I was born and grew up in the former Soviet Union and I moved to the US in 2008. I have a bachelors degree in German and a masters degree in English with concentration in TESOL (Teaching English To Speakers of Other Langauages) from IUPUI (Indianapolis, Indiana). I have been working with special needs students with various disabilities for 10 years. I have worked with students ranging from ADHD/ADD to those who are bed ridded and need toileting assistance. I have also had to accommodate with feeding and those who are transitioning out of high school. I graduated from the Gwinnett School of Math, Science, and Technology in May 2011. GSMST is a charter school with a focus on a rigorous curriculum. I took my first calculus class in my junior year and earned an A in the class. I have taken and passed AP Calculus, Calculus II (high school), Calculus I (college), Calculus II (college). Currently, I attend Armstrong Atlantic State University and am between my freshman and sophomore years. I am a Mechanical Engineering major and will be transferring to Georgia Tech in Fall 2013. As of now, I have not done any official tutoring, but unofficially, I have helped classmates and friends with math. Though not much of a writer myself, I feel like I excel proofreading and grammar.
