My comments on tutoring Grammar : I can teach grammar, and I can also edit your work for grammar and punctuation.

I assess the student's level of mastery by listening to parents, communicating with the student (in whatever appropriate way needed) and then doing some basic testing. Once the student is assessed, I design a learning environment and activities that coincide with the student's specific strengths, while adding some elements of challenge. I tend to work in a very focused way for 10-15 minutes, and then add in tactile activities (like Bannana Grams for example) for 10 minutes or so, in order to maintain the student's attention. Children and youth who are struggling to read and write get patient assistance to learn the words correctly. I graduated High School in 2011. During my junior year of High School I started home schooling so I could take college classes. I took three classes at Skyline College, all of which were completed with a B or better by the time I was a senior in High School. Along with my college classes I babysat a five year old and tutored him three days a week. During my senior year of High School I would regularly tutor a 16 year old and a 14 year old. My comments on tutoring Grammar : One of my favorites. Im very helpful with learning and correcting the grammar technique in english writing. I am also very professional with editing and proof reading works of writing needing to be turned in for college.

I am very proficient with teaching my students to understand rather than just finish the activity or problem. I pay very close attention to the learning style of my students. I make sure they are focusing and learning rather than copying my teachings.
I continously tutor ages k-12, college students and international students. I have been tutoring for five years and enjoy sifting out the difficulties.
