Spelling is one of my top subjects! Great spelling skills are crucial in writing. Spelling skills can only get better by constant practice.

I taught English for a few years and really enjoyed teaching the students about the world of writing. I specialized in the four types of writing: Narrative, Descriptive, Expository, and Persuasive. I also strongly believe in developing strong grammar skills because they comprise well written wrting pieces. Once a student feels confident in his/her writing and speaking skills, the sky becomes the limit.

My style of teaching is more of a participant style. I enjoy when students contribute to class discussions. It brings joy to my heart when a child finds a task complicated and eventually succeeds. Thus, some children may require additional assistance, such as tutoring.
