My comments on tutoring Reading : I was a reading teaching at a Christian school in Florida and as a result the students under my directions did well all but one.

I have taught both adults and youth. I was instrumental in assisting adults in obtaining their high school diploma and college degree. As a youth teacher, I was responsible for teaching students to read and as a result of their improving in this area; I was promoted to a teacher’s position. I have tutored students on an individual basis, and a result they were able to be promoted to the next grade.
My style of teaching is more of a participant style. I enjoy when students contribute to class discussions. It brings joy to my heart when a child finds a task complicated and eventually succeeds. My degree in Psychology has a strong basis in Behavior Analysis. This is what I will be getting my Master’s degree in starting in the Fall. My teaching style mainly focuses on positive reinforcement. I use positive reinforcement in order to increase a behavior of choice. I love teaching children of all ages. I believe that everyone should have equal opportunities in acquiring a good education. My opinion is that all children do not learn in the same ways. Thus, some children may require additional assistance, such as tutoring.
