Psychology is one of my favorite subjects to read about and I have taken many courses dealing with psychology including general psychology, social psychology, physiological psychology, and cognitive psychology. All students have a variance in their learning style but I have found a cognitive apprenticeship/constructivist approach is a good style to start with. I show the student how to accomplish a task, then we accomplish a similar task together, and finally, the student shows me how to accomplish the task, with my guidance if necessary.
