I have taken many courses over an extended period of time. In 2002 I entered the Surgical Technology program at Jefferson Technical College; I managed a 4.00 and missed only a couple of days. During the many testing phases of the program I stayed and helped get other students through the program, I was commended on my drive and determination to help other students, all while maintaining my grade average. I pulled down some of the highest scores in the programs history. I have six years experience working with children of all ages in an educational capacity. I worked as a literacy tutor and I taught autistic pre-schoolers in the public school system. I also recently returned from teaching English (ESL conversation, reading and comprehension, writing and grammar) in South Korea where I worked and lived for eighteen months.
