My teaching style is very creative. Yes, I believe in teaching the basics, but make learning fun. I like to do fun games or art projects or use music to inspire and teach the children. That way they will have fun and learn at the same time.

I prefer a "hands on" approach in a one-on-one environment. I have had success with classrooms of up to 120 students, but I prefer the individual monitoring. It yields the best results. I have tutored remedial reading at the Elementary level for a tutoring service out of Phoenix, AZ for the Washoe County School System in Reno. While in my undergraduate study, I tutored fellow students who were struggling with beginning music theory.
