My comments on tutoring Physics : can tutor with some review of the subject.

I have a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and a minor in History. I have 7 years experience as an Engineer. In High School I went to an international baccalaureate school and focused on math and science. I believe that tutoring is the key to successful learning by incorporating the following 5 rules to teaching: Assist A tutor's main job responsibility is to assist students academically in whichever subject(s) the students are seeking improvement. I have been a teaching assistant and tutor for the physics department at Wofford College for two years (starting in 2013). This covers both semesters of general physics, from classical mechanics to waves to electricity and magnetism to optics and modern. I have also taken all of the upper level courses available at the school.
I prefer to meet with students who have already looked at the material and are prepared with questions. We can then approach these problems together and solve anything the student was unable to do themselves. If I notice a gap in the theory behind something. I will then fill it in adding a physical example when I am capable of doing so. A Little Bit About Me...

I love that look that you get from a child who gets what you are teaching them. When the light bulb turns on, and you know that they understand the process. That's what makes it all worth it. My teaching style is that with enough work, any child can succeed. They just have to know they matter to the teacher. I am a hands on learner myself so visual tools help me to teach the concepts to students.
I am a graduate of Clemson University, with a BA in Biological Sciences. I have always enjoyed biology since my first AP class my Junior year of high school. My teaching style varies depending on my student(s) and their level of understanding. But one thing that is a common denominator in whatever style I use is to relate the subject matter into something that the student has a passion in.
