I have a B.S in Animal Biology. I have had to take extensive science and math courses. Additionally, I have extensive experience working with children. Especially those that are from low income families and different cultures. I have volunteered tutoring children after school. Additionally, I have taken several classes about learning styles, teaching styles, and study skills to improve my own academic achievement. I would like to start with the most simple question and work my way up to the more complicatde questions. As and questions or concerns pop up along the way I would address them so that there is no confusion of how each step in solving the problem is chosen.
I am a college graduate of University of West Florida’s college of Building Construction and Engineering Technology. I have worked with children and youth pre-school - 12th grade since 1982. I have done some literacy instruction with adults. I have been recognized as an outstanding mentor to disadvantaged youth. I have written and published articles, and currently am finishing a novel.I have worked one-on-one with autistic children, grades K-5, and am certified in exceptional education and elementary K-6 in Florida.
