I enjoy teaching and investing in children. I was credentialed as a Substitute Teacher. When I taught in public schools teachers would request me by name to teach for their classes. I have experience working with elementary ages through high school and even adults. When teaching I try to break complex materials and concepts down into practical illustrations and concepts so the student can see the big picture then fit the concept into that picture. While I was a student at the College of Menominee Nation I was a tutor in the accounting and math areas. I am also very good with computers. I have been out of school for a few years, but I am always willing to help out anyone who had a question, and If I can help them out it's all the better. I am not a teacher, but I like to think that I can help out in a way that the student or person I am tutoring will learn. I love working with people, and anyway that I can help them learn better makes me feel better. I have children of my own and help them out with school work. I graduated from UW-Madison with a BS in Dietetics. In order to obtain this degree, I had to take a wide variety of Science courses including: Chemistry, Biochemistry, Physiology, Anatomy, and many others. Not only am I well versed in Science, I have a background in Math too. In highschool, I completed the AP-Caluculus course with a score that allowed me to bypass any college math courses. However, I have refreshed my math skills since I recently took the Graduate Requisite Exam (GRE) and received high scores in the math section. During my enrollment at the University of Arizona in Tucson, I tutored several students in advanced psychology courses as well as advanced English composition courses to undergraduates. I graduated from the University of Arizona with honors--a member of Psi Chi National Honor Society in Psychology and a memmber of Golden Key National Honor Society. After graduation, I tutored a high school student in geometry. Lately, I have been tutoring a fifth-grade student in math and reading.
