Been in the teacher preparation program at Nevada State College for about 3 years now, started off in Step-Up program my Junior year of high school, have done some field observation at many schools, and have had to deal with one on one tutoring during the time I was there along with many fellow class mates. In my classes at NSC we have different preparation classes that are preparing us for tasks such as tutoring and handling difficult tasks such as helping students that aren't of the English language to learn in their own way the different techniques that we use. From the time I was a very young child I was able to write well and express what I was thinking on paper. In fact in the 5th grade I remember that every student was required to take the same test. A few weeks later, about ten student were called into a particular classroom where we were surprised to see our parents. It turned out that the test was an aptitude test and we were the highest scoring students and I learned that I scored a perfect score on the writing and grammar portion of the test. Obviously I was only in the 5th grade, but throughout my academic career I always did well in writing. I got an A in English Composition, an A in AP English, got a 5 out of 5 in the AP English exam, and received a perfect score on the writing section of the ACT.
