While one student may be able to memorize and understand facts one way, say by repetition, another student may learn the information by understanding the background and context that it comes from. Teaching students is a passion and an art. I approach each situation by trying to understand what stress factors are experienced by the students, as well as how they need to be approached to learn. Some students need to have a direct approach, others need to try on their own and then step by step correct their mistakes to both build up confidence for doing well and understand where they went wrong.
