A Little Bit About Me...

Growing up with four younger sisters, I have learned the valuable skills of patience and understanding. I approaching teaching and tutoring as a collaborative effort in which I treat each student with dignity and respect. I find treating students as equals while still providing the material in an engaging manner allows the students to grow and find their own voice which has proven to further and better cement the material in the student’s mind.
I have spent much of my time as an undergraduate mentoring underclassmen at ASU, not just to better understand their economics and political science classes, but also how to be a better, well-rounded students. After many years in the customer service industry; I returned back to school to acquire my Bachelors Degree in Human Services/Management. Throughout the past 10 years I have been a volunteer with the Child Crisis Center in Mesa, Arizona. My duties there include mentoring, monitoring children ranging from infancy to twelve years of age. Due to my customer service background I have excellent communication skills. My education with The University of Phoenix has left me with a wealth of academic achievements.
