Math Tutor, Studying Engineering at U of A

I prefer to work one on one if possible, however up to a group of 5 is perfectly fine, because competitions can be made to help improve academically. Also kids/people learn best after making mistake or watching others make mistakes. I am an incredibly persistent guy and will spend whatever time it takes, with no extra charge, to ensure someone passes a class with an A. I have very reliable text books that I use to teach, however I know kids, despise using them so I turn the text into a more practical learning tool.
This is not very professional sounding, however I have helped all of my friends pass classes with As or Bs from 7th grade all the way to the end of high school. I never charged them. As a student, I had the chance to participate in the Americorps program, where I developed and implemented programs for at-risk youth. My programs encompassed but were not limited to, ecology, animal husbandry, writing, reading, and the arts. Since then I have earned two bachelor's degrees, a BA in Education, and a BA in Elementary Education, with minors in communications and liberal arts.

While studying Physics at Iowa State University, I first discovered my love for teaching and tutoring and have been doing it almost continuously since then. I worked for the ISU Academic Success Center helping groups of 1-4 students learn calculus and calculus-based physics for 3 semesters.
