My comments on tutoring Elementary Vocabulary : Along with Spelling, I have also always done well in my academic career with Vocabulary. I am familiar with Elementary and College Vocabulary levels.

My teaching style is multi-dimensional, and personally tailored to each specific student. Each student is unique and special. Everyone has a different learning style, which means each person has different need in terms of how they learn. I learn about each student, and take the time to figure out how they take in information. Also how they best understand their course material, and whether their learning style is Visual, Auditory, or Kinesthetic. Perhaps a person's learning style is a combination of these three things. When I teach, I use colors (pens/markers), diagrams, figures, counting figures(ex: colored counting bears), and a writing board to work out/solve math problems. I led a semester long Beacon tutoring supplement course in Organic Chemistry that supported 20 junior college students. I have effectively tutored/mentored a number of high school students in general education coursework, organizational skills, and in preparation for exit examinations. I have conducted community based math group sessions for junior high and high school students.
